How to account for the possibility of disguise when assessing signature comparisons

Following the recommendations of ENFSI guideline for evaluative reporting, forensic handwriting examiners should assign a LR to evaluate their results. But when evaluating results signature analysis, how one account possibility disguise? The present paper explores three possible solutions. first option could be two values, assuming that questioned was disguised, and other it sincerely written. authors show this is not optimal, since propositions ought exhaustive in context case. It expert’s task take into all relevant information assess meaningful way. second suggests partitioning proposition genuine based on event disguise non-disguise. This requires assigning probabilities non-disguise impact value third consider only events have an case formalising those do solely sake exhaustiveness.
